SBG offers UL Level 1 Bullet Resistant Glass, with an All-Glass makeup, by using multiple layers of glass laminated with PVB. The overall thickness of our UL Level 1 glass is 1 1/4″ (32mm).

SBG manufactures UL Level 1 thru 8 Glass-Clad Polycarbonate products for security glazing applications. Glass-Clad Polycarbonate products combine the durability and abrasion resistance of glass on the “attack” side and the impact resistance of polycarbonate to the “witness” side, providing thinner and lighter security glass products with “no spall” protection.

Bullet resistant products are typically used in banks, credit unions, gas stations, convenience stores, storefronts, municipal buildings and schools. Our laminating capabilities can also be used to produce hurricane rated glass or safety glass for interior and exterior applications.
